FAQ

  • What is your turnaround time?

My turnaround time for all jewellery pieces are maximum 3 months but usually earlier than this if possible.

  • Can I use multiple milks or inclusions?

The answer is yes! Please specify on the check out page which inclusions you would like included in your piece. If sending 2 different breastmilks we will preserve these together into one stone. If you would like them preserved separately please add the ‘additional milk’ product to your cart (£10).

  • How do I care for my jewellery?

This is one of the most important things you can do to ensure that your jewellery will be enjoyed for years and years to come.

Remove before showering or bathing: I encourage you to remove your jewellery before washing your hands, showering, bathing, or swimming. Your inclusion stone is strong and water resistant but not waterproof. Prolonged exposure to water can affect the strength of the prongs in your ring.

Avoid exposure to UV and heat: Please do not store your jewellery in direct sunlight or wear it for a prolonged time in the sun. Heat can cause your keepsake stone to become weak.

Avoid chemicals: Always remove your jewellery when working with any type of harsh soaps, hand sanitisers, perfume, creams, or cleaning products. Exposure to chemicals may dull your piece or discolour it.

Remove before bed:  I recommend removing all pieces prior to going to bed to ensure they are in great shape for a long time. Oils in our body can cause the jewelry to dull over time not to mention the amount of pressure that is placed on jewellery while laying down.

  • May I change an order after it’s been placed?

Any requests to change an order must be emailed within 24 hours of your order being placed. There is no guarantee the change can be made, but please contact us to see if we are able too.

  • How do I send you my inclusions?

After you place your order you will receive an order confirmation with my address to send your inclusions to. Please find full information on how to package and quantities on our drop down menu under ‘breastmilk’, ‘cremation ashes’ etc.

  • How long will plated jewellery last?

The lifespan of plated jewellery depends on many factors such as body chemistry, amount of wear, and if you follow the care instructions. The pieces that are plated will wear down to expose the sterling silver underneath eventually. Please note we cannot replate plated jewellery when it begins to reveal the silver underneath.
